I used the body language / absence of face, as something very obsessive to me. I wanted to translate this obsession, of the mistery, the movement, the posture, the shapes and expressions, through the accumulation of a certain number of images representing this feeling.
I collected all of those images from Tumblr
By making this looping video, with this almost epileptic set, I wanted to make the viewer experience this obsessive aspect, almost make him feel sick.
The set of the actual installation increase the neurotic aspect of it, I putted the thumbnails of the pictures that are on the video, under a piece of glasses in which the video is reflected.
The vintage TV played the video in an irregular way, here again reinforcing the neurotic aspect.
The last slideshow of this page is screenshots from the video, the layering of the pictures together create the essence of the project, all this material tangling makes something new that I think tell it all.
